Well it’s Xmas time and time for gift. I’ve got a Samsung NV10 for my wife as Xmas gift. Though I think I’ll use it more 
This little toy got 10M pixels on a 1/1.8″ Type CCD. The CCD and the Schneider lens is what attact my most. And I can have full control of Shutter speed and Aperture in manul mode, which will help to improve my shotting skills. And ofcause it’s a good looking toy. A EISA awards is a plus
So, I’ve got used to it today. Some reviews said the “Smart Touch” system needs to get used to, but it’s pretty straitforward for us. My wife even won’t look at the manuals.
And it works on my FreeBSD box like a charm. Just mount_msdosfs it and I can copy staff to my computer. And I can see Samsung are using some XML files to store pic infos. Haven’t tried to edit that manually though
